Torrington Place to Tavistock Place Experimental Traffic Changes

In November 2015, we introduced a trial of temporary traffic changes that include the following streets:

• Torrington Place
• Byng Place
• Gordon Square
• Tavistock Square 
• and Tavistock Place

We consulted on the possibility of making the temporary traffic changes permanent in Autumn 2016. The consultation received over 15,000 responses, the largest response we’ve ever received for a consultation. 

To further examine the scheme, we held a Public Inquiry in Autumn 2017.
